Perfect size and I will agree that it is very sturdy. My child likes to lean on it so we’re going to add some wood to the bottom to make sure he doesn’t break it

I am very happy with the purchase. The table is beautiful. Very good quality for the price. It is very stable and is also very heavy so you will need a hand at putting together if you were thinking to do it yourself. It’s very easy to put together by the way. It took me a very long time to choose a table because I am very picky. So glad I settled with this one.
